Simone Kornfeld has charged her art into a highly complex color universe. Sometimes her brush or fingers seem to write energy traces on the canvas as if unleashed. Often the work turns into an emotional vehicle of expression – unbound by any constraint — and it seems as if it even bursts the limitations of the canvas. Then the restless, extremely unleashed, agitated and turbulent is juxtaposed with the calm, the melancholy, and contemplation.
